Eurovision 2010: Is Israel Now the Favourite?

Last night, Israel was the first of the three remaining nations to decide on their song for Eurovision 2010.

After singing a selection of four songs and following a combined televote/jury vote, vocalist Harel Skaat will be singing Milim (Words) in Oslo in May.

Suddenly, all bets are off as the reaction to the Israeli entry has been very positive amongst the Eurovision community.

Eurovision 2010: Bosnia & Herzegovina: Vukašin Brajić

Over the weekend, the first performance of the song selected by Bosnia and Herzegovina was shown on the country's national television broadcaster.

So, here is that nation's choice for the Eurovision Song Contest 2010: Munja i grom - English translation: Thunder and Lightning and sung by Vukašin Brajić.

Eurovision 2010: Serbia and Sweden Song Entries

Last night saw both Serbia and Sweden select the entries that will represent them at this year's Eurovision Song Contest.

Serbia chose the song Ovo je Balkans (This is the Balkans) which will be performed by Milan Stanković.


Sweden decided on the song This is My Life sung by vocalist Anna Bergendahl.

Four More For Eurovision 2010

March 12th saw four more countries throwing their songs into the Eurovision 2010 ring.

Here are the entries that will represent Estonia, Germany, Greece and the United Kingdom in Oslo in May.

Both Germany and the United Kingdom will automatically feature in the Final, while Estonia and Greece will have to fight for a spot there in the semi-final stages.

Estonia picked Malcolm Lincoln and Manpower 4 singing Siren.




Germany chose Lena Meyer-Landrut with Satellite.



Greece picked Giorgos Alkaios singing OPA.



The United Kingdom chose Josh Dubovie with That Sounds Good to Me.

Eurovision 2010: Josh to Represent the United Kingdom

Nineteen-year-old vocalist, Josh Dubovie has been selected by UK television viewers as the country's representative at the 2010 Eurovision Song Contest in Oslo. He will be singing a Pete Waterman composition called That Sounds Good to Me.

Josh won the vote over two other finalists (Esma and Alexis) selected by the judging panel of Waterman, Jade Ewen (last year's UK representative) and dance guru, Bruno Tonioli.

Eurovision 2010: Meet the Hosts

The hosts for the 2010 Eurovision Song Contest in Oslo have now been announced.

Instead of a usual duo from past years, Norway has chosen three hosts - two girls and a guy. They are Erik Solbakken (right) and Haddy N'jie (left), who will open the show, together with Nadia Hasnaoui (bottom) who will take care of the voting and scoreboard.
